Hi, im Yamil from Mexico and i want to move to New York

Hello hows everyone? well the thing is, im living in mexico and i just started studying aeronautics engineering but ive felt trapped here for over 2 years now and i fell like i should be wasting more time doing something that doesnt makes me happy and in a place i dont enjoy living in any more. So, im looking to make friends in NYC since ive dreamed of living there for a while now and i want to just do it and move there.
